Hosted by Youth Business Initiative (dba Projectile X), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run fully by high school students across the Bay Area and Sacramento, Ignite 2017 is the closest to a version of TechCrunch Disrupt suitable for high school, college, and other young entrepreneurs a conference has ever been in the Silicon Valley.

We'll start off with special words from Meg Whitman, CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprises and HP through an exclusive video just for Ignite 2017.

Our keynotes include keynote speeches from Steve Huffman (CEO of Reddit), Michelle Zatlyn (Co-Founder of Cloudflare), Andrew Sutherland (CTO of Quizlet), and Claire Hough (SVP at Udemy).

Our fireside chats (Q&A) include Alfred Chuang (sold BEA Systems to Oracle for $8.6 billion), Jason Ma (CEO of ThreeEQ and G20 Member), Adora Cheung (Partner at YCombinator), and TBD,

We'll have a 3-round pitch competition, the first of which is online, the second of which is in-person, judged by employees at Google, Apple, Facebook, Qualcomm, etc., and the final round judged by the top VCs in the Valley, from Sequoia Ventures, Microsoft Ventures, YCombinator, Indicator Ventures, 1517 Fund, and more!

Our workshops are led by CTO at California Highway Patrol and former SVP of Intel (Cybersecurity), VP of Quizlet (Marketing/Finance), and a Senior Manager at Apple Corporation (on Resume-Writing).

Our startup showcase will include over 20 early-stage startups demoing their products!
We're trying to run the best 1-day entrepreneurship and technology conference held anywhere around the world. Let's make it happen together!
